Hi Tammy! I just moved back to LA after many years in NYC. Do you have any recommendations for me of fun places to go/eat?
Tammy S.
Hi Ning,
Welcome back to LA! I really like inexpensive places. Porto's Bakery is the best place to get pastries and Cuban sandwiches. You also have to get a meat pie, guava pie, and potato ball while you're there! It gets really busy, though, so be prepared to wait (it's worth it!). I also like tacos from trucks in the 'hood. Of course, the zoo and aquarium are always fun! I don't know about many fancy places, sorry. Hope this helps you a tiny bit. :)

I've gone to Porto's twice now--the Glendale and the Burbank locations. I'm obsessed with their midnight sandwich and cheese rolls! yum yum Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm so glad you like Porto's! Great, now I want some, haha!
