Hi guys,
I am eyeing this to add Vit C to my daily products. Thing is, it says that one should use a water based product with it and the sales lady insists that it should be used in the morning. I have lots of moisturizers right now and I don't plan on buying a new one soon. Would you know if gel type moisturizers will be ok - I mean what would happen if the item is not oil free or water based? Is it just the absorption or solubility into the moisturizer that is affected but product would still be efficient?
Thanks guys.

First of all GREAT choice. The most effective C Serums have ascorbic acid in them and this one fits the bill at a great price. I would hit up Ulta and Sephora online and read the reviews about how it has worked for other people. You can get a better feel for how others use it and submit a question if you like. :)

This powder is a great choice like Rozberry said but you must use a water base moisturizer or serum for it to work because it's water soluble, that's how it's going to travel threw your skin ,it's going to penetrate your skin threw water molecules, lipid base cream are ment to be a barrier they just lock moisture in the molecules are to big to actually penetrate the skin so the vitamin C will just still trapped in the cream and loose all it's potency. If you don't want to buy two products just buy stabilized form of vitamin c in serum form

I don't know if you have access to the Korean brand, skin food, but their omija berry serum is incredible. It's a stabilized vit c serum.
