I have no clue if I should highlight and contour or not or what type of foundation for me skin and how to make my face less shiny.

If you're not used to a lot of makeup I would recommend starting off with a bb cream, garnier bb cream is good for oily skin and Rimmel stay matte powder on top will really help keep oil at bay, I don't think you need to to contour, I would finish with a touch of blush, a rose gold colour would look good on you and mascara to finish :-)
