I cut my hair in September and it still hasn't grown back to the length it were before I cut it. I regret cutting it. Any ideas on how I can get my hair back? I'm using a method where I don't use any heat on my hair and shower my hair with cold water. Does this method work?

It will help keep your hair healthy, I don't know if the cold water thing is actually true but I do it and it makes my hair shiny so that's a good thing :)

No it won't make a difference but using the right shampoo can help keep the hair healthy and try not to put your hair up in tight up-dos and it can suffocate your hair

All hair grows at it's own rate and from what I've found from all my terrible cuts, is that there isn't a way to make it grow "faster". Maybe 1/4 of an in more per growth cycle but that's about it.

Not using heat helps to not damage the hair you already have. I use hearing products almost daily and use hot showers and my hair is to the small of my back. I got cut about a month ago (but everyone is different. My hair grows very fast)

Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer! BEST. It made my hair grow so fast and it was under 5 dollars! Its the best thing that I've used.

There is nothing you can do to increase the rate of growth--it is determined by genetics. That being said, make sure you are eating a healthy balanced diet, as malnutrition can restrict hair growth.

Prevent damage by minimizing heat, avoiding tightly pulled styles, and trimming split ends (if you don't they will cause more breakage).

Note:
I know someone is going to advise taking biotin, so I am going to head them off... DO NOT take any supplements without talking to your doctor. They can interfere with medication, and can cause horrible side effects if you overdose. Best case scenario you end up wasting money on vitamin-enriched urine. Worst case you end up in the hospital. Save your money and your healthy and stay out of the supplement aisle unless specifically instructed on what to take and what dosage by a PHYSICIAN.

Nikki b. how long did it take for you to notice any growth? and was it the hydrating oil that you used or was it the conditioning cream?

Stimulate your hair follicles by brushing you hair/scalp often. It will help your hair grow. Also wash your hair with vinegar to remove any build up caused by shampoo and conditioner.
