What's a really good medium- full coverage drug store foundation? not really anything sheer.

Loreal true match & revlon color stay are the best drugstore foundations in my opinion.

Its dry and oily in some places. but mostly dry.

Then try the true match if you're dry. I'm oily and the Colorstay works for me because its very matte. the true match was too moisturizing for me so it'll work with dry skin.

Well since you have dry skin, don't go for matte finishes. I recommend a dewy finish like the Loreal True Match Lumi.

I got the loreal true match lumi and I hated it! I couldn't make it work for me. but I love the 3 in 1. it just gets a little too orangy because my skin is very pale.

I loved Covergirl 3 in 1 until I realized it didn't last through the day. I don't even touch it anymore lol. I love loreal true match when it's not too hot and my skin isn't too oily. Rimmel 25 hour has buildable coverage and it's incredible. I also don't think true match or rimmel will cling to dry patches or make you more oily. Where 3 in 1 definitely will (well did for me).

I am in love with the L'Or?al True Match Lumi. I also have mostly dry skin in the winter, but as it gets nicer out my skin ends up very normal with a tiny bit of oil in my t zone. I bought the L'Or?al Infallible foundation today as that is the long wearing foundation in L'Or?al's line. I tried it today and it worked out really nicely. I have also bought two versions of Este Lauder foundation and I actually prefer the L'Or?al. I can not recommend much of anything for oily skin, but as far as dry skin goes, I think L'Or?al has some really great choices for amazing quality medium (buildable to nearly full) coverage foundations.

Cover girl 3 in 1, loreal and revlon do not have SPF, cover girl does.

Sorry to correct you lisa but that is simply untrue. I have both the revlon colorstay and loreal true match lumi and they both have spf. true match has 20 spf n colorstay only has 6 spf but they both have it.

I love the lumi as well. Definitely trying the infallible now!
