Hi Ladies (and gents)! Lately I've been thinking about changing my hair. I've literally had the same dark, curly, fluffy hair my entire life and I think it's time for a change now that I'm 25 😳. I don't want to put my hair thru any harsh chemical/heat processes since I have virgin hair. I was wondering if any of you ladies have ever used natural/at home ingredients to lighten your hair ie honey, lemon, apple cider vinegar, etc? Do they work? I'm definitely not looking for a dramatic change, just something slight yet noticeably different. Thoughts?

I have done it with lemon and I found it wasn't damaging. You have to do it over time though, a few times a week. Just get some lemon juice and pour or spray into hair (your hair can be damp if you wish) then go out in the sun. I got a book and sat out for around 2 hours. When it dried I poured a little more on. After, I washed it and put Aussies 3 minute miracle on and my hair was super soft after. It was a little lighter, but as I said it needs to be done a few times.

Their was a post about this a long time ago. One of the beautylish girls went lighter by mixing honey and any kind of shampoo. And she sat out in the sun for I think an hour And washed her hair. & Wala!
