What is the worst beauty advice you've ever gotten? one of mine would have to be my friend telling me to use Mane n Tail to make my hair grow. glad I didn't do that now that I know the facts! I would've had some waxy damaged hair lol.

Awh that sucks Alice :/ you can use bio oil or vitamin e oil to reduce the appearance of the scar :)
Heather, yeah everyone just throws around the idea of taking pills to fix everything! it's always good to talk to your doctor first.
ooo yeah, yasmine. lemon shouldn't be used on your skin. I still see people give that advice though! :/

I had a stylist talk me into bleaching my eyebrows after she dyed my hair this AWFUL tomato red/orange color. I was like 12 and thought I could trust her..lesson learned.

Yeah, when I walked back to my mom in the reception area, she asked where my eyebrows went. -.- Needless to say, I've never had a stylist dye my hair...or eyebrows...since. :p Only me, myself, and I.

Omg I love that hair! when I cut my hair short in 6th grade I hated it. I was seriously about to cry lol. our hair is our baby! maybe you could gradually get it to that point, so it won't be such a shock?

I got told that making a face mask out of Olbas oil (a really strong smelling oil used to unblock noses!), demerera sugar and baking soda was really good for your skin. I did NOT try it, googled it and am glad I didn't try it! I agree with the toothpaste on spots, that is such a bad idea.

Crystal I've acualy given tht advice:) it workd great for my mom and aunt. I havent personally tryd bc I ddnt wnt to smell like garlic as well but I heard of puttn garlic in a clear nail polish works the same.

I was told to put some conditioner on my eyelashes to help them grow long and thick... thank god I cross checked it on beautylish!!
