How to hold curls without using hairspray?

I have naturally straight hair and I want to curl my hair for my cousin's wedding. However I'm allergic to hairspray and other hairstyling products. Is there any natural way to keep curls?

I'm not too sure about products you could use. But I kno if you curl your hair with a flat iron instead of an actually curling iron, the curl would hold a lot longer. Curls could last up to 2 days. Hope this was helpful

Do you know which ingredients you're allergic to? You can always search for products without that :)

@Vickie Thanks! I've heard a lot of good things about using flat irons to curl hair, I've tried it with mine but my hair always ends up having a weird bump in it from the edge of the flat iron.

@Hannah I have no idea I've been trying to figure it out for years lol. All I know is that wherever I go get my hair cut, if they ever touch my hair with hairspray or any type of other hair product I get a huge itchy rash. I also react to pretty much all shampoos as well, the only Shampoo I've never reacted to is Aveeno.

Aveeno does have styling products, I believe, if you want to check those out. I'm addicted to their dry shampoo.

Have you tried curling your hair and then doing a set...like curl it and then pin it kind of like a tillers w.out the rollers leave it in for a while so they can cool and set with the curl... take out and you should be fine! hope this helps!
