What is the best acne scar or just scar product/treatment? How quickly does it start working? Thanks 👍

Acne scars are tricky - it all depends on your skin and how it heals itself - lately I've been using Paula's choice 2% BHA exfoliating gel once a day for the past 2 weeks and my scars have been lightening (I have a post titled fading acne scars with pix so check that out) and also vitamin c serum - as far as how fast it works will depend on your skin - some people see results in as little as 2-4 weeks others it takes 2-6 months so just keep with your routine and you should see results.

I actually use rose hip oil on my face and it has made an AMAZING difference. I use it at night before bed, doesn't break me out at all.

Scars can be hard to deal with. It depends if it`s an old or new scar. New scars can successfully be taken care of with natural products but older scars might need something stronger. My 2 favourite things are Mederma and pure coconut oil. Merderma is a cream that you have to apply like 6 times a day (which can get annoying) and you see results after 4-6 months. But it does work! For me personally I love using Organic Virgin Coconut oil (found in health food stores). Coconut oil basically locks in moisture and is known to have other healing effects. I had dermatitis for years which has left me with scars all over my legs. I was so embarrassed and I tried for years to get them to go away. I started applying coconut oil on my legs twice a day and I started seeing results within 2 months. Another thing that I found that helped was swimming in sea salt. I don`t know if you live near one but I found it great for my skin! I went on a trip to Jamaica for 7 days and I was shocked how much being in the water cleared up my scars! Since then I try to have a sea salt bath a couple times a week. Also, check out Arbonne`s `Purifying Sea Soak`it supposed to detoxify your body and I`ve noticed a difference in my scars.
