So I got a hair appointment next month I'm goin dark red, how long to wait to get it dyed a different color I want this color next.

Word of caution, red doesn't fade as much as everything else. Red is the strongest and most annoying pigment to get out of your hair, so unless your okay with color removal and multiple bleaches, I'd say choose either red or blonde. It's not impossible to get the red out, and if you take care of your hair and do your research on safely bleaching, you'll be fine. But it won't change overnight.
