Hey guys :) I was just wondering If any of you have tried the tee tree oil line from the body shop and whether or not it truly helps and works for acne and skin care? Thanks in advance :)

It hasn't really worked for me I don't think but I still use the face wash and would prob buy it again. Though I have extremely bad acne so maybe I just don't notice because of how severe it is.

Its too mild to work for severe acne, I must warn you. But it does work for mild to moderate acne, the ingredients are gentle on skin and the biggest plus is that they don't make skin photosensitive like the regular acne treatments do. I have super sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and I have their entire range, I use the foaming cleanser in the morning, then skin clearing lotion and a sunscreen to top it. The face mask and scrub are great too, not harsh at all and do their job well. They do reduce oil production with regular usage but you need to give them time to work.

I would sometimes (like twice a week) use a salicylic acid cleanser if I notice too much oil production if I have been outdoors a lot. The tea tree oil is definitely a great spot treatment! It reduces redness rightaway.

I used them before but didn't really work for me. I still do use the mask occasionally. I like its cooling effect but the packaging is very unhygienic.
