I've bleached my hair ombré and it came out really nice. If you research and know what you're doing you should be good! Sorry I don't know much about colored dye.

Some tips: I bleached my hair like 4 times in the past 2 months.
-only bleach on dry, dirty hair
-do not condition before using bleach. Like I said, do it on dirty hair. Conditioner coats the hair shaft therefore you won't get a very even coloring job.
-since you are using a color remover, your hair will most likely be orange (especially if your natural hair is dark)
-you may want to try a tonal bleach like kaleidocolors by Clairol Professional (Sally's). Go for the blue one since you want to remove some orange. You also want to keep it from going green too. You could also use just regular bleach and developer then put in like a blue color corrector.
-I wouldn't use a 30+ vol developer since you're not sure yet.
- processing with heat speeds up the process so if you go that route, watch your hair!
- Don't feel like it has to be bleach blonde to go that shade, if it's still a little brassy that's okay because blue cancels orange in the color wheel.
-ALWAYS use a neutralizing shampoo after to return your hairs ph. I can not say how important this is!

If it were me I'd be looking at directions hairdye or manic panic :) I'm not sure on blue colours though cause that's the only colour I hadn't used haha! 💕

Haha I don't know what it is but blue hair gives me too many emotions lol! Scared, nervous, excited, when I think about dying my hair blue I just get overwhelmed I think lol! Pinks and purples for me haha! 💕💜 I like the directions dyes in other colours though, they're pretty decent :)

If your hair is dyed black, you'll probably have to bleach it twice before it can be dyed blue. Before teal, I had black for about 2 years, and it turned out a coppery color with random bits of the colors I previously had. Also, raw hairdye is amazing. It even smells like bubblegum. Blue may or may not stay in, though (I had it once and it washed out within a week).

Everything Symone said is true! Only thing I would add is to take your time, if you try to hurry the process along you will probably end up with super damaged hair.
As for the blue hair dye. I swear by Pravana!!

I'll definitely be careful, Jordan. my hair is my baby! lol. I'll check out pravana as well :) thank you!

I bleached my hair to blonde for my first bleaching ever (platinum blonde) by using peroxide 40 and bleach! I did it 2 times only, and I started with black hair. After bleaching my hair was still amazing. I'm not sure why but it was, also I bleached all in one day. Soon after I went to black again. Fast forward I bleached again and the color was coming out but not how I wanted it too, I tried a hair stripper and let me tell you DO NOT strip your hair!! After, my hair was messed up! Not only was it messed up but it didn't even do anything! :/ I guess what I'm trying to say is play with your hair it's different for everyone.
As for colors I LOVE Adore! They are like 5$ each and the colors are so vibrant!! Here's is a picture of when I had pink hair( couldn't find one of when I had blue sorry), and sorry for the long paragraph lol.
