I have sensitive skin on my legs every time I shave I always manage cut myself or it'll get irritated and I'll start to break out it hurts and is very uncomfortable, I've tired many razors from woman to men's and along with it shaving creams and nare. Nothing seems to work what can I do?

The only time it works out for me is when my hair is longish.

They have a special lotion/cream thing at stores that you put on your legs for about 15 minutes and it eats away all the hair so you don't have to shave :)

It's called a hair removing cream :)

Whoa, Elaiah, you're right that they do, but definitely not for 15 minutes!! Maybe for some people but for people with sensitive skin, that's a huge no!

I agree with Meghan, try seeing a dermatologist! :)

Maybe Aloe vera gel will help your legs. Try growing out your hair and maybe get it waxed, so you don't have to shave as often. But do a patch test, I don't want your skin getting worse..if it's sensitive, anything can disrupt its balance. Otherwise try switching from shaving gel to hair conditioner (something without parabens)...maybe it was the product. Or, I'm just thinking of it now, maybe you're shaving too often and your hairs are too short so the razor grabs on to dry skin, hence the cuts and irritation. But the safest route is a dermatologist :-)

Do you exfoliate before you shave and moisturizer after? It might help if you don't :)

I have the same problem as you. I went to the derm about it and she suggested to shave with the grain of the hair. But all that does it leave my legs prickly. The only combination that I have seem to find so far is the Avenno Sensitive skin shave gel, gilette mens razor that has six blades on a head and right after done I use coconut oil to prevent burning and irritation.

That keeps the iritation and burning down to a minimal.

Use coconut oil to shave with. It is smooth and the razor will glide nicely.
