I have so many clothes that I think are gorgeous, but I'm scared to wear them in public because I feel people will make fun of me or I will look silly. Same applies to makeup- I play it safe all the time because I'm insecure. What's a good way to break out of the box? :)

I can't help but do it. I got out this adorable black skirt to wear to school yesterday and changed my mind at the last minute because it was shorter than I usually wear and I knew people would make comments. :(

Same, I went to school in shorts once...
I am only 13 and everybody told me I was a slut and a hoe, my best friends mom even told my mom I looked like a hoe,the shorts were just shorts not short shorts or slutty shorts, the tempature was also normal.
everybody judged but I actually made new friends too who thought it was cool that I did that...
after all I am really really happpy I did it, I know how mean it is to judge and how it feels like, I will never judge anyone before I really got to know them.
and really btw they're going to judge you anyway cause they're shitty pieces of sluts just be better then that

I have the weirdest makeup fear... it's changing my look with boys.
For example, if I met a guy when I was wearing a lot of makeup I am very afraid to wear minimal makeup in front of him. I personally feel like I look like three completely different ladies with heavy makeup, "natural" makeup and then no makeup.
I just met a guy and I was wearing "natural" makeup and I've been scared to wear a heavy look in front of him because he was attracted to the "natural" me. Ugh. I know this is sort of off from the topic but it's been driving me nuts this past week.

Just gradually, so take comfortable and safe and add a bit of your style. For example if you like girly, add contour to frame your face and a bit of pink eyeshadow in your crease and for your clothes add more jewellery and maybe wear heels more often. You will become more confident over time and wear things more your style x

What jacqlyn said. :) I used to be super shy in middle school. Not anymore. Lol. But one of my friends told me that if anybody ever said anything I should say back "b**** why are you worried about it" lmao. I'm not recommending to say that. But it's totally true. Nobody should be paying attention to what you wear if they don't like it! It's their problem, not yours! :)

Thanks guys! You're all very right. :) I want to be able to experiment with my style, I feel like there is a lot of stuff I've not tried and I've not quite found 'me' yet. But you're all right, I should go for it. ^-^
