Is the microdermabrasion that is sold at stores the same thing as the one you can get at a dermatologist??? help I have an appointment tomorrow but I don't know if it's the same thing!

No. Derm version is usually more intense than what's in the store.

Nooo hun micro at the derm is done with a machine either diamond tips or Crystals are dragged across your skin an vacuumed off the only thing that can compare to that for home use is the PMD personal micro machine.

It feels soooo nice after having it done. My Esthetician uses diamond tips. A spa is often much less than the derm and it is a nice way to spoil yourself without breaking the bank.

So @traci L you wouldn't recommend the at home one I've done 3 bioactive peels already seen great results but would like to do some at home stuff to.

I do recommend the PMD ,it's the closet thing to a real micro your going to get at home
