I don't know what category to put this in but...

I'm sure it's probably been asked before but I wash my brushes with baby soap and water, I wanted to see what do you girls use to wash your brushes?

And how often do you wash them? I replace mine monthly, but I just use drugstore brushes. my eyes I use a new brush everytime - maybe a little ocd lol.

Wash them once a week, and there's no need to replace them. a good brush set should last a long time. I can't imagine how much money you go thru in the long run using a new eye brush every time and replacing the rest every month.

I agree with Kelly there's no reason to replace them! Just invest in good brushes and take care of them, they'll last ages :3 As long as all the product buildup and stuff gets washed away they'll be good as new, no reason to buy whole new brushes!

Well I use a new eye brush BC I don't wear it a lot, and I feel like if I don't double dip brushes the shadow will last longer- although I don't know that for a fact, but I brush collar bone everyday..now I feel gross waiting a month lol. thanks ladies :-) I love saving money.

Baby shampoo. I wash it every two weeks so I can wash it altogether. I have a lot of reserves so I don't have to wash it every week. Lol.

I used to use shampoo but I realized it was irritating my face and not getting all the lipstick and foundation off the brushes. Started with the vinegar and dawn and have been very happy with squeaky clean brushes and less blemishes. http://pintester.com/2013/01/diy-make-up-brush-cleaner/. I do make all my cleanser so vinegar doesn't bother me.

The Master Brush Cleanser & Preserver! I've always used it on my paint brushes which are even more expensive and delicate, so I definitely thought it would be makeup brush safe... and it works like a dream =)

Duffs wouldn't it be cheaper and cost efficient if you just got a good brand brush so you don't need to waste money.

Baby shampoo and a little olive oil. Usually wash every two weeks but that depends on usage. After each use I use rubbing alcohol plus I have a jar for dirty brushes.
