I wash my face with acne wash (at the moment it's the neutrogena brand) then I BLOT it dry with a clean rag and apply my favorite lotion (at the moment I like cetaphil)

My routine: in the mornings I wash with my Clarisonic and Neutrogena Rapid Clear foaming facial scrub. The Clarisonic works for me because I'm blackhead prone, and it uses sonic vibrations to loosen them and reduce the appearance of pores. The Rapid Clear scrub is much better than most scrubs, because it uses beads to scrub instead of harsh shell pieces like apricot scrubs. If you want a scrub, always go for one with beads! After that, I use the Murad Clarifying Toner, because it cools my skin and I find it very soothing. It really feels like it's tightening my pores. After that, I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer, because it has SPF to prevent future spots and really makes my skin feel smooth and moisturized.

At night, I use my Clarisonic again, this time with the Bioré Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser. I like the cleanser, though it's not my favorite, because it foams really well and makes my skin feel clean, but I have to use a tiny amount because it slips on my skin and can get in my eyes if I'm not careful. After that, I use the same toner, and then I use the Korres Wild Rose and Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial. It's designed to brighten dark spots (I have a few from sun exposure), and it's been working for me. It's thick, so it's nice to use at night so that your skin feels refreshed and smooth. It also is all natural, which isn't something I search for but is a nice bonus :)

Occasionally I do a face mask, my favorites are the Body Shop Tea Tree Mask, which is clay based I believe and draws out impurities. Tea tree also has antibacterial properties, which can help minimize acne (since non-hormonal acne is caused by bacteria). It's a safer alternative to straight tea tree oil, because it's diluted. I also like the Bioré Self Heating 1 Minute mask, I did a review of it on here, but it dries out my skin a touch. So I'd be a bit careful of that.

I personally think that if your routine works for you, no need to change it.

I use a Dove bar to cleanse my face once a day, followed by Clinique's yellowish lotion in the square container. Can't think of what it's called...

Morning: wash with Philosophys Purity Made Simple face wash, then tone with Tea Tree water from Lush, then apply Philosophys When hope is.Not enough serum then Hope in a Jar moisturizer and Tartes Maracuja under eye cream.

Night: Clarisonic with purity made simple, tone with tea tree water, apply retinol eye cream from Rock, when hope is not enough, tartes under eye cream, and the hope in a jar mixed with tartes Maracuja oil.
I thank Traci for all this! I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. but yes, everyone's skin is different. either way, its so important to have a good skin care routine.

I also love Mario Badescus (sp?) drying lotion and cosmetic warrior face mask from lush.

Morning: I wash with Kiehl's Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser. I tone with Lush's Tea Tree Water. I moistruize with Aveeno Positively Radiant Moistruizer with SPF.
Night: I switch every nigth between washing with the same Kiehl's Cleanser and the face wash from the AcneFree 24 Hr Clearing System. I tone again with Lush's Tea Tree Water. I then apply Lush's Grease Lightning Cleanser as a spot treatment. I moistruize with Rite Aid Moistruizing Cream and Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil.
A few times a week I do an oatmeal exfoliating mask and Lush's Mask of Magnamity!

The face wash products I use are:
-Murad Soothing Gel Cleanser (Redness Therapy)
-Neutrogena Acne Stress control scrub
-Clairsonic

Mornings I either do the scrub, or Murad with the Clairsonic.
Then follow up with Benefits eye cream and Murad Essential C moisturizer (30 SPF)

Nights I cleanse first with Murad as a pre-cleanse and then again with the Clairsonic. Once I find a good makeup remover that I like, I'll skip the first wash.

I got a sample of the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion stuff and I really like it. I'd like to incorporate that, a toner, and a mask into my regimen but not exactly sure on the frequency and in during what stage. Any suggestions?
