I have really long hair (about to the middle of my back) but it's just so plain and has no texture. I'm thinking about getting short layers to add volume and texture. Could anyone upload some pics to show my hairdresser. Thanks!

This is a picture of my hair it has a lot of layers! I would highly suggest not getting an emo cut! Get something you like that suits you! Modify the cut to yourself.

Honestly you don't even have to put texture and paste in your hair! Texture and paste will make it look greasy in my opinion! I get a lighter toned highlight to contrast so layers look more defined!! I usually don't even style it and let it go natural because I get lazy when it comes to nursing school!

@mairead I've had people ask me if I was scene before! I just say my hair is rock n roll Axl rose hair or that Kelly kapowski from saved by the bell!! I always hated putting like creams or pommades in my hair cause knowing me I'd use to much and look like a crisco container.

Lol dry shampoo I found adds texture that and mousses I use got2b fattastic mousse.
