I am pleased to reveal the secret to this one. Forget quick dry spray, use a drop of any oil. If you look at the ingredients on any dry spray it will most likely list various oils. No other secret to it. Just a drop of oil when your nails are in that 'dry'/'tacky' state and this will do the trick!
have a bowel of very cold water near to you so when you have painted your nails you can dip them in, this dry's your nails really fast and also makes the polish last longer too.....
My mom taught me to lick your nails and if they taste like nailpolish their still wet an NO nothing gets bin your mouth.Many thin coats always helps too. :-)

A nail drying light works really well !! And they are about $25 but a good investment !!
