From what I've read recently ACV doesn't actually cleanse the hair like shampoo does of oils and everything else. It can help the process, but it may not clean completely. (I tried ACV rinses when I had braids in and it didn't really do anything cleaning wise. I still had the same amount of dirt build up in my hair as always).
