So everytime I try to do a messy bun it just doesn't look messy so maybe in not doin it right... Idk.. So if people could just give me tips and how to's that be great :)

I put my hair in a ponytail and then wrap the ponytail around to great a bun... If that makes sence.

If you have thick hair you could twist your hair around itself and tie it off then pin any flyaways. Or if you have thin you could make a ponytail tie it off once and then pull it halfway through.

I do a pony tail the scrunch the tail all the way to the beginning of the pony tail and tie it while looking messy... If that makes sense? :/ :)

I always do my messy bun on day old hair...put up in high pony. then divide into two sections. tress the first section, smooth out and wrap it around the other section and pin. then tease the second section and wrap around in the opposite direction around the other section and pin down. works especially well for thick layered hair. then shape it and spray!
