How do I get rid of this??

I have this DISGUSTING spot on my face, it's red, it's painful, it stings, it's dry and it's crusty. Nasty. Anyway, I've had it for 2 days and I can't get rid of it. I've tried ice, Savlon (antiseptic healing cream). It's really unsightly.
It's even redder than before now because the scab thing on it came off:\ does anyone know any treatments or anything I can buy? I'm in the UK, and I hate Clean and Clear and Clearasil, they do absolutely nothing for me. I believe the spot is a mixture of a buildup of sweat (as we've been having a heatwave) and hormones as my period is due tomorrow. It doesn't have a whitehead (or any head) on it. Anyone have any (home or shop brought) remedies for it? Thank you xx

Neosporin, it works wonders for me, especially overnight just put a big blob on it, or if you're just around your house keep on reapplying

Well the picture is kinda bad but based on the location and description, it sounds like a cold sore. Does the pain feel like its sitting above the skin? Is there a lot of pus when the scab falls off?

It's not a cold sore at all:) no pus at all.
