All dermalogica products are fantastic but they are very made very specifically for specific skin types and using the wrong one can worsen your condition. I have a basic training In the products and I would highly suggest you speak to a dermatologist about what would suit you best

Even just this one for acne?

I love the Clea Start range! It was the only skincare system that actually helped my acne (and trust me, I'd tried A LOT of other brands and products prior to Dermalogica).
I have to respectfully disagree with Ruth; in my experience, there's no need to see a dermatologist unless you feel you need help on a skin condition that your regular doctor hasn't been able to provide for you.
That range of Dermalogica products are aimed at problematic teenage skin. With the salicylic acid they can be drying, but I have sensitive skin and it never gave me problems with dry patches, flaky skin, or any sort of allergic reaction. Just make sure to use it in conjunction with a good moisturizer; one without any harsh ingredients like salicylic acid or benzyol peroxide.

I think you misunderstood me Lizzy, I'm saying that if this product doesn't work, or Mercedes wants something that will work and not damage her skin more that she could talk to a dermatologist. its not a big deal to speak to one, just walk into any boutique or dermalogica store and talk to someone. its like asking a mua about foundations..
