I frickin adore NYX soft matte lip creams! Very creamy and give gorgeous color! There are many different colors as well so you can find one you really like!

I don't know how strict your $15 dollar budget is but I'm in love with mac's viva glam 1 lipstick right now which is $17, it's a gorgeous matte dark red that's pretty long lasting.

They're a little bit sheer and they wouldn't show up on my skin if I swatched them, but very pretty. Also I agree with the nyx matte lip creams. It goes on very smoothly.

Most of the NYX Round lipsticks are good. My faves are Chic red, Thalia, Spell bound, and Shiva(pearl finish and it's bold!) NYX is the old lippies that are affordable that I have tried and they are wonderful!
