I have acne prone skin and they say it helps reduce blemishes does it really work?

I have it and I haven't used it that much but I don't it all over my face because there's salicylic acid or something in it and that dries up the pimple :)

I would focus more on skincare if you're trying to get rid of acne. But, like Jacqlyn said, it might not break you out since its meant for preventing breakouts. I've tried the original, and didn't like the formula too well. But the new one is worth a shot.

I haven't used it yet but I love the original dream fresh bb! My guess is that it would work best when paired with a good skin care regime. Since it has salicylic acid in it I would put it on the area that seem to break out more or on the days when your break outs are worse than normal. I think it would help just from being on the skin.

I have the original and I like it. Is the new version billed as being oil free?

I'm. pretty sure both of the bb creams are oil free.

I agree with Regan but at the same time I'd say give it go. Its affordable and makeup is all about exploring.

I saw on a makeup swap site that someone really enjoyed it and it helped with her cystic acne. I'd try it! But don't rely on solely that for your skin issues.

I just bought it! It's very sheer and I've only used it like 3 times now but so far it's pretty good!

I used it when it first came out in Summer over in Australia and it definitely gave me a light coverage as well as sun protection plus salicylic acid which dry up pimples. I'm not sure if the US version has the same formula since a lot of people are saying that it provides no coverage but for me, the coverage is light and enough to hide redness.

This BB cream is good for days where you only want something light with some coverage. I fully plan on repurchasing when the weather warms up again.

You should really consider the BRTC blemish recovery balm. Its a medium-full coverage bb with skincare and acne benefits. Costs about 20-25$ on ebay, but a bottle will last you at least 3 months.
