What is the lightest, natural cream foundation?

Ok guys so I'm only 16, I have only worn foundation on special occasions, I use my moms. In my makeup drawer are only eyeshadows, mascaras, and eyeliners, I don't usually use foundation or BB creams. But I want to start wearing a light, natural looking, non-cakey cream I can wear to school just to make my face look smoother, and take the redness away because I have a bit of rosacea on the sides of my face. I don't know much about foundations. Help?

L'oreal true match would be a good choice. It's lightweight, blends easily and comes in a ton of shades.

I'm in love with Clinique foundations! Super light but nice coverage and great for your skin. They may be a but pricey but are totally worth it. I would suggest the Even Better formula, which is my current foundation.
