My skin gets SO oily when I wear makeup, and even when I don't.
I have all the products that help delay this but I'm wondering if this means I have a problem with my skin if there's any medication or products I can use to stop the oil production.

Oily skin is a result of your skin producing a surplus of oil to compensate for the lack of it. So, I've learned anyways. When your skin is really dry or you're not moisturizing enough, youre skin produces the oil so that you're skin isn't so dry. You could try using a heavy duty moisturizing cream at night. Make sure you moisturize after you wash your face, drink plenty of water, and try not to touch your face so much.

I'm really all over the place since I haven't found anything that works. I know I should try long term to stick with a routine, but the last few doctors I've seen haven't told me anything to use or to do. Could you please recommend a full skin care routine and products I should look into?
I'm desperate about trying to fix this now.

Oil cleansing is supposed to be helpful for oily skin. The drawback is it takes a lot of trial and error to find the right combination. I have been using eclos daily facial cleansing oil at night which seems to help with my oil production. If you're thinking about oil cleansing it may be a nice first option since it's premixed and stable.
