What to wear to court?

Hey guys, I'll be going to court in a little under 3 hours and I have no idea what to wear. I'm going for a custody hearing over myself, so nothing extremely fancy.

But do you ladies have any outfit ideas or just ideas in general about what I should wear?

Black dress pants or skirt, a nice conservative top and pumps. Easy just make sure it's appropriate and use your best judgement.

Agree with Lauren:) you could also wear colors such as grey, blue or white. I wouldn't mind bright colors either, but the darker or lighter ones are the safest choice and they're sure to make you look really nice. Think of a classic office or business woman look:) that's it.

A plain color such as black, white, or grey. You can do either a suit or a dress. Make sure the dress falls at least 1/4 inch above the knee; if you have one that hits your knees that's even better. No statement jewelry and nothing that will make noise. Wear nice shoes preferably in black or nude. Flats are most acceptable but if you want to wear heels make sure they are easy to walk in. My cousin is a lawyer so I asked him and that's is what he recommends!
