Ok so I'm 15 and I'm going to be a sophomore. This season, crops tops have been very in style, and I love them! The thing is, I live in east texas, and everyone is SO out of the trends and it's sooooooo annoying. I also go to a conservative private school. Anyways, I have been wearing them because I love them so much but a lot of people have been saying I'm a slut who is trying to show off my body or whatever and I was just wondering what you girls opinions on crop tops are and how other people where you are from accept them? I wish I lived in Florida or something where it's normal!! Anyways, thanks (:

Preach it Jacqlyn! I hate when people "slut shame" others because I their clothes. there's a fine line between being trendy and looking like your clothes went through the shredder. Crop tops are completely fine.

You're welcome boo! You're so right. They cover a lot, especially when they're worn with high waisted bottoms. Ugh just pisses me off. I don't think that walking around with a little cloth covering the chest and booty area is acceptable, I mean I don't want to people naked! Haha. But a crop top is a crop top.

I actually use to live in Florida and some people think its slutty there too.. I love wearing crop tops though so I honestly didn't care. As long as I think I look good in what I'm wearing I could care less about anyone else's opinions.

Alright, alright. I've seen a lot about this lately. I HATE JUDGERS! I don't know if that's a word, but I'm upset, so I'm going with it, I don't see why it's fair for men to walk around practically naked and get good attention for it, while when women show a tad but of stomach, you label them as showing off too much! WHAT?! I honestly see no problem with a woman being able to express her style in a way that makes her feel good. I feel that everyone in society today judges others as they look on the outside, not who they truly are inside. So let me get this straight, that girl is the sweetest, kindest, most amazing person you've met. But you're going to make fun and judge her over a shirt? It's a shirt!! *sigh* I'm done. 😌

With a sliver of stomach showing, it isn't too bad. I can't control what people wear so it's really not for me to say. Clothes, for the most part, does not define a person. I know girl who sleep with anything that moves but wears jeans and band tees. Personally, I don't really care for crop tops but they can be really cute.

I live in NH & everyone wheres them &I some people call others "thots" where I live because of wearing them, but if you have a body you want to show off , then you should do whatever you want. even it you're not super skinny , if you feel comfortable wearing something then you shouldn't care what people thing 😋

I think crop tops are amazing! I am to insecure to wear some but if you do it means your proud! Also they are great for really hot days. I just don't like it when people wear crop tops the size or a bra, but a bit above belly button and below I think are really cute!

I like them. For me, I will only wear them with high waisted shorts and such because I like to cover a lot of skin because I'm not comfortable flaunting it all. However, I think everyone is entitled to dress HOW they want to dress to feel pretty, confident and sexy! It is NOT up to others what you wear. Just so you know, in my opinion, these people are horrid! I recently got out if a conservative Christian school and people did the same thing to me and it destroyed me! Just know that HOWEVER you dress is up to you and that what people say to you is completely unacceptable! I support your style 100% even if it isn't the preferred style for my body. You're awesome for doing what you want even when you are surround by hate and slut shaming. Own it girl! It's perfectly fine!

I love crop tops & everyone here in TX loves them too! In what part of Texas do you live because here in San Antonio is almost like it is in Cali fashion wise 😳 anyways, You shouldn't care what other people think I always say you should do what makes you happy! & if crop tops makes you feel pretty & happy why does that bother anyone else! 😉 It's really hot here anyways so I say ignore everyone & do you ☺

I have a pink crop top that looks great on me I'm 12 and no one ever calls me slutty so they are definitely not slutty on you! there's a fine line between stomach and slutty and that is a bandeau top. :)

I agree you should wear whatever you want! All these girls have GREAT points 👍if you feel uncomfortable try to wear them with high waisted shorts/jeans just so it doesn't show as much maybe? But wear what you love& what you think is cute!
