So I want to whiten my teeth but I don't want to spend megabucks at the dentist or the 40 dollar crest white strips. Any diys that could help me?

Do not use baking soda as it ruins the enamel on your teeth. You may not see it in the short term but you will see it in the long term.

Although baking soda is found in most toothpastes, I disagree and will say that no, it does not ruin enamel.
In fact, it can only be damaging to the teeth and tissue ONLY when used incorrectly.
If you want to whiten you're teeth, I usually make a paste out of baking soda and lukewarm water with a consistency thick enough to mask over the teeth, then, I apply it with a q-tip or a small tooth brush. But, don't brush you're teeth with it because, that's where it gets damaging. Also, don't add any home diy ideas to you're paste like lemon juice or anything acidic because that WILL ruin you're enamel!

I don't know if it works but I somewhere read that the inside of a banana peel works. So maybe you could try rubbing a banana peel on your teeth, I haven't got the chance to try since I have braces which wouldn't really work haha.

There's such thing called oil pulling, that involves coconut oil. I'm not too sure about it, but if you look it up and read on it I'm pretty sure you'll find out more about it! Hope I helped!
