Long layers look nice, in my opinion. Or if your hair is wavy, shorter layers can be good to give it more depth. That's what mine is like. Also face framing angles in the front can change your look too without going too short! 😊

I think it's pretty hard to go wrong with layers :)
If you want to keep the length, just ask your hairdresser not to cut the bottom layer. And layers always look nice when you get it shaped/framed around your face :) I'll look up some pics of layered hair that are nice

I am also having a tough time because I really don't like bangs in my face when I have my hair down.
I've googled haircuts but I just can't find anything.

I agree with what Shona said! You really can't go wrong with layers! Just get long layers instead of short ones! I do that to my sister cause she like to fit everything back into a ponytail!
It also depends on where you get it cut! If you go somewhere like Walmart then it not going to look the greatest. Cause its normally people that have just gotten out of school! I would suggest somewhere like Regis! You can normally find them in malls! That's where I get mine done! They are very attentive!
