Blonde toning products for hair?

Has anyone tried any toners for your hair to tone down the brassy tones in your hair to make them look more ashy blonde? like purple shampoo or something? comment any products?

Shimmer lights work well from Sally's beauty supply!

Or any Demi permanent color in the level 12 range I would look for ash

Yeah a purple shampoo will work. I've heard good things about shimmer lights if you can get that there but I can't get that here so I use a lee Staffords purple shampoo and it works for me to leave my blonde a cooler ashier shade.
