I'm going into 9th grade too I'm definetly going to pick up a neutral palette like the naked palette naked basics for a natural eyeshadow look I love jansport back packs they aren't extremely fashionable but they last well and can carry a lot.

Get a nice Northface backpack, I had one last year (my freshman year) and it was so much better than my transport one which didn't hold a lot.
