My bestfriend has just had a major heart operation and is housebound for the next 2 weeks (hottest weeks of the year too!) She can't go outside or see people as it's a risk of infection. What can I buy her that will keep her occupied? Any DIY projects she can do, kits she can make up, anything? It can't be massively expensive. I was thinking maybe a jigsaw puzzle, loom bands, but I can't think of anything else:\ thanks girls xx

Your idea of loom bands is really good! Loom bands are really fun and they keep you occupied you should maybe try those they also aren't too expensive!

Thank you Janelle! I think I know what she likes/wants, might just go down the bookstore I buy really easy, girly reads:) thank you, I hope that too! My grandad had a triple heart bypass and recovered in 3 months (very fast!) and he's 75, and my friend is having a similar operation and she's 16 so I hope she will!!

Get her some cute coloring books, crayons, and some embroidery floss to make bracelets with! I would also say , like the other ladies did, get her a few books!! And also, suggest the app wattpad where you can read books written online by other people, and they are pretty much gold! I'm not joking I've read some amazing books on that app! I hope she gets better, and I hope things go well! Good luck! 🐟
