Any ideas on how to help hair grow?!

Castor oil apparently helps hair growth. I've never tried it but I've seen people get results from doing it. Also remember that hair growth is genetic so it is possible for you to try a lot of things and have nothing work. That's just how it is and the healthiest way for hair growth is to just cut down on the heat and chemicals and let it grow on its own :)

The best way to help hair grow is to just keep it healthy. Unless prescribed by your doctor, please don't take any pills or anything for hair growth, biotin included. Do deep conditioning hair masks, hot oil treatments, annual trims, and drink plenty of water. Reduce the amount of heat you use and refrain from washing your hair every single day.

Patience is the secret. Nothing can generally make your hair grow faster, the speed of hair growth is all determined by genetics. Keeping it healthy is what you should do, getting the split ends trimmed off monthly, using good shampoos that are not filled with fragrance because that dries out the hair ( herbal essences is what you want to stay away from ) keeping your hair moisturized, weekly hair masks and such.
Good luck x

Hair growth is based on genetics, the health of you & your hair. so the only way to promote growth is to keep yourself & your hair in good health.

Do not just go taking pills (including biotin). You can end up with side effects serious enough to put you in the hospital. always ask your doctor first.

Some tips to promote growth:
get trims regularly (split ends will go higher up the longer you wait & then you'll have to cut off more hair)
drink a lot of water
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant, I recommend It's a 10
don't brush your hair while it's wet
do hot oil treatments (I use coconut oil)
use a deep conditioner (I use Aussie 3 minute miracle)
use hair masks (store bought or diy)
try a leave in conditioner

keep in mind that there are no miracle products or methods. good luck in growing your hair! :)
