If it's not a pimple it might be a cold sore??

I can't see the photo too well, but assuming its a pimple... do you use lip balm?

It looks like a cold sore if you ask me. Is t sort of red and dry?

It's dry but its kinda yellow/whitish in the middle and yes I do use lip balm all the time.

OK here's what worked for me when I got something like that by my nose!
Run the hot water and hold a cloth under it then press it onto the spot gently.

For how long?

Do that a few times a day and that will help lots!! I promise!
Don't put any crazy zit creams or anything on them! Just do your regular face routine and 'steam' that spot LOTS

The time doesn't matter just till is isn't hot anymore! I did it 3 times a day and by the first day it was smaller!

Also try an aspirin mask! I get pimples on my lips sometimes and that's what I use and it reduces the size and gets rid of the redness(:

Check the ingredients... I always get them because of lip balms. I find that lipbalms with Ethyhexyl Palmitate, which is very comedogenic caused them. My EOS balm.and Blistex Balm gives me them if I use them.

I'm having a similar issue, and Kitty just answered my question! I couldn't understand why I was breaking out around my mouth, and it's probably because of the EOS lip balm. Helpful thread. (:

I think it looks like a cold sore. For those, go get some Abreva and it should go away in a few days. Stop using lip products such as balm, gloss, and lipstick. This can aggravate it. Just, keep things off your lips, don't touch it, and use the Abreva.

If it is a cold sore you could also try Compeed total care invisible. They're these clear circle patches you pop over it and, I swear, you can't see the sore unless your like an inch away. Helps keep out nasty germs and you can also wear your usual balm or lipstick over them :)
