Box colour for brown hair.

I posted a couple days ago asking about changing my hair colour but I really wanna go a couple shades lighter and I was wondering if I put a box dye over my medium dark brown hair how it would turn out?

It'll make it lighter for sure but not like a drastic change. don't expect the color on the box you choose. I say go for it your Just trying to go lighter not blonde so it'll be fine, I do it:)

If it's a couple shades lighter a box color would work. On the box it should have a "if your hair color is similar to this, this is about how it'll turn out"

If you want to go more than 3 shades lighter normal box dye isn't going to lift it enough. I would either use loreal hi color or go to a salon and get it done :)

You ladys are great! so if its just to get a nicer golden brown colour I could go ahead with box dye?

Yes it should be fine.

I've used the loreal hicolor a few times but only the bright reds. I've never used the browns
