Okay so I just purchased a full set of face treatment from the Body Shop - spent over $100 on the package including facial cleanser, toner, oil treatment and mostorizing cream etc.. I do the routine every morning and night.. I'll be honest I've been using it for about a week now and I thought I would see at least some kind of improvement.. if anything I've gotten more breakouts! should I wait for a few more weeks or what??

I've heard it can sometimes get worse before it gets better. I think it has to do with your akin adjusting to the new routine. maybe try it for another week & if there's still no improvement or it keeps getting worse I would stop.

Yes I would also say to give it at least a week more, maybe 2, unless your skin is reaching badly to the products! Do your skin feel dry or does it burn or anything when you use it?

I would say more of a very very light stinging/cooling sensation afterwards.. my skin doesn't feel dry or anything I actually do like it.. I'll give it another week or 2 and see how it goes??

It's called the purging stage, with a lot of products, especially salicylic acid (if that's in those products) can cause the impurities to be drawn out of the skin all at once. So it's actually a good thing. If you feel irritation. Maybe try discontinuing the routine and see if you can get a refund.

Which body shop treatment is it?

Kyraa is spot on. Skin is just merely adjusting to the products...especially if it contains more active ingredients than your prior routine. Another thing to add...whenever you go for a full system of products is best to introduce one item to the skin at a time. For example, start out only using the cleanser for a few days before introducing the next new item. Doing this allows you to isolate any items if it causes major irritation. Make its easier to pin-point the offender versus using everything all at once. So about after a month of doing this you should be using the full product system.

I completely agree with Shelley whenever you start a routine using multiple products that your skins not use too may cause breakouts at first , breakouts meaning a few pimples here and there not a full blown face of pimples itchy skin or patches of red pimples try and differ a bad reaction to your skin adjusting and you have to give it time it takes 28 days for all your old skin cells to turn over and new ones to come to the surface ,so try and judge if your routine is working within that time period.
