I do not live in a very fashion forward area, so I would stick out like a sore thumb. I just can't decide if I want to spend the money on a product if I'm not confident enough to wear it in public. I'm sorry that this is such a long post, but I'm seriously obsessing over this lol. I want to rock it to campus in a rotation of other looks.
Please tell me what you would think about it. Do you like the blue lipstick look? I think RhiRhi Rocks it and Kesha Flops it. Do you think it's worth a shot? My family will make fun of me too lol, but I can get over that if necessary.

I live in backwards thinking Jacksonville, FL. I'm a Cali native and I'm used to seeing and doing the unusual despite the conservative mindset of my city. Excuse my French but I'm 40 years old and I rock MAC candy yum yum...a neon pink. I haven't tried a blue lippie but have rocked a true purple on many occasions which is a head-turner as well. If you feel the need to rock a blue lippie screw other peoples opinions and just go for it. Life is far too short to worry about what Joe Blow has to say. You have to do what makes you HAPPY, what makes you SMILE!! So yes in my opinion its worth it!!

I wear blue lipstick once in a blue lol I wore it to a club and a festival and I loved it it's only makeup bye it and try it and I think a dark blue would look nice on you not a baby blue

A royal blue or deep teal would look stunning on you! Honesty, go for it. Be the first person to start the trend of wearing blue lipstick in your town. You'd be surprised at how many people are wanting to try something 'out there' but because nobody else does it, they think they can't. Do what you want. At the end of the day, it's your face, and if somebody doesn't like what you have on it, that's their problem.

Well I say you should the idea you have is like a very simple yet stylish way I personally loved the first blue. I have also thought about it and I haven't tried it but just do it sometimes we over think things and stop being ourselves because of what others think. I think nyx macaroon lipies have the perfect royal blue and they don't break the bank :)

Thank you all so much for your input! I think I'm going to take the plunge now. I like the idea about the deep teal and royal blue Regan! And thanks for the vote of confidence everyone. I do try to commit to my look once I am ready for the day, but I just wasn't sure if I had the courage lol. I'll be sure to post a pic when I do it! <3

I love the whole look you described! Maybe try it out at night first-you might feel less self-conscious that way. Question-do you dye your hair darker while the rest of us are spending $$$ for red hair?!? Lol.
