I use cetaphil cream everyday and exfoliate weekly, but I still have dry patches around and between my eyebrows. How do I get rid of the dryness? (Face masks, moisturizers, etc.?) Thanks!

Dermalogica intensive moisture. I work with dermalogica products but used them for about 2 years before & they really are amazing. Are you positive yourskin is dry and not just dehydrated?

Because I have normal/normal dry skin but have dehydrated area around my nose so dehydration & dry are different things. One is a skin type & one is a skin condition.

Dry skin is caused from a lack of sebum and small sebaceous glands. dehydrated skin is from a loss of moisture pretty much. We need water in our body and when there's not enough environmental aggressors can worsen it. It will be more flaky in texture less supple from loss of oil (sebum) and can sometimes itch. Those are not symptoms of dry skin. A lot of people over exfoliate to get rid of the dry patches which can worsen the situation as well as products used that strip your natural oils. We all need oils in our skin even oily skin types. For the sebaceous glands and stratum corneum to absorb the moisture make sure you use creams at night after washing your face with cold water

Try a chemic exfoliant! Look at the ones from Paula's choice, that's what I've been using and it's done wonders for my dry, flaky skin!
