Back in the day when I had gotten myself a long bob I would make myself a ponytail really high, the don't pull through the entire hair the last time but kinda spread it out into a bun shape and pull it out as far as possible (while remaining that bun shape) and put a second hair bubble around it. It gave me a rather voluminous bun with really short hair (and I really hope that description was understandable)
You can also curl random strands of hair and give it a kinda messy look.
Another option would be curls and then back combing the front section.
Also can you twist your hair? You could try a waterfall twist (I believe there are YouTube tutorials but I am on my phone so I can't put up a link) or just twist them back in a half up (similar to the picture #1 but with a twist instead of a braid)
