My birthday is next Sunday and I was going to venture out to the Mall of America and treat myself to some new Sigma brushes. But the more I think about it and discovering more and more negative reviews about them (mostly in the construction department), I'm second guessing buying them (which sucks because they're made in Minnesota, yay for buying local!).

I'm thinking about buying Bdellium Maestro brushes. I know Miss Jackie always recommends and raves about them. I don't wanna buy new expensive brushes and have them fall apart on me...are Bdelliums the better choice? If so, I'll order a bunch when I come home from work tonight.

I've never tried them but I wouldn't worry about them falling apart. Remember that Jackie's a Pro MUA so she's probably constantly washing those brushes. I'd doubt she'd rate them so highly if they fell apart easily :)

I was mostly talking about the SIgmas falling apart...that's what I hear the most about, you wash them a couple times and they start shedding. Like no. I need some work horses that are going to last me a long time. Bdelliums are a couple dollars cheaper too, which is great because I'm buying myself a whole new set to replace my Coastal Scents brushes.

I believe Jacqueline calls the BDellium brushes her work horses lol. I only ever see Sigma brushes hyped up on YouTube ( and since they have all kinds of coupons it's most likely just advertising ) so I personally would go for BDellium since you are going to make them your work horse.

I'm in the same boat. I been wanting some Sigma brushes for a while but keep hearing about how their face brushes are falling apart. I've been looking at Zoeva brushes, Coastal Scents, BH Cosmetics, Sedona Lace...no idea what's good or not.
