How To Use Clear Lip Liner?

Okay so I bought clear lip liner because I had problems with bleeding with a really uncommon colour. However I'm not sure how to use it. Yes I know you line your lips with it, but magazines normally only talk about coloured liners and never about clear. So what should I do?

Clear lip liner works the same exact way as regular lip liner :) sometimes I even fill my lips in completely as an added layer of staying power.

Okay! It confused me because they never talk about it. Doesn't make sense to me because what if your the person with ten thousand lipsticks?

It looks like this. I know Avon has one, but I'm not sure who else. I don't see it often, but if you find some from a quality brand I would buy because it's just more economical than buying matching liners for all your lipsticks.

Urban Decay has, Too Faced has, I believe Bite makes one, possibly Marc Jacobs...
