Baking soda should NOT be used on skin.

I'd recommend using a facial exfoliator such as Liz Earle facial exfoliator.

You can steam with a bowl of boiling water and a towel. Place your head about 30cm above the water and drape a towel over your head to catch the steam. Do this for about 10-15 mins.

Baking soda is bad for the skin also. It will BURN and BREAKOUT your skin. Maybe it works for some people since they're different , but do not use if you definitely have dry AND Sensitive skin.

Baking soda
Lemon
ect?
Is bad.

Salycylic acid is also a great ingredient to clear up pores. Aspirin is made out of salycylic acid so you can mash it up and make a paste with water...or go and buy a face wash that has it as an ingredient- always the safest way!

Ummm actually aspirin is made out of acetylsalicyclic acid which is not the same as salicylic acid... It results from a chemical reaction between salicylic acid and acetic anhydride

If you do go to Pinterest, look them up before using it. Half of Pinterest is made up, and 99% of them know little to nothing about Skincare.

I love using egg whites to clean pores. It's almost like a biore strip just less drying and egg yolk is a moisturizer. Plus you have the weird satisfaction of getting to peel it off your face lol.

I also love the oil cleansing method. But I use it daily which most people do like bi weekly.

I just leave it till I can't smile anymore lol. Usually like 10-20 minutes depending how humid the house is.

It's using oil to cleanse, I'd look up more about it. But it basically using oil, there's tons of different options. I use a mix of the Dior cleansing oil (it's got about 3 different oils in it) and the tarte oil. I wet my face, rub the oil on, scrub with my sephora cleansing pad and then rinse off. Some people use a warm wash cloth and let it rest on their face with the oil on it, to steam the oil into their pores but I'm not patient enough for that everyday.
It's basically using oil to unclog oil. :)

Surprisingly no, it's like if you spill oil, yo can't use water to clean it up or it'll just separate from the oil.
It's very trial and error. I'd look at YouTube videos and blog posts. It doesn't work for everyone and I'm not 100% sure what oils are good and what is bad.

Coconut is fine for using with the oil cleansing method-again, like most things, it doesn't work for everyone. Luckily my skin feels great using it about 2x a week. Instead of using a hot towel after massaging it in, I just wipe it off with a cotton pad and splash water a few times on my face-though I think the hot towel is what help draw all the gunk out so to speak!
