Hey y'all, I thought this would be a fun conversation to have.

I want to know your top 5 FAVORITE beauty products that are sort of obscure and not well known. I think this is really interesting to hear about, so I wanted to let you know my top 5 and see what you all think =)

1. Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel. I know, I know. I rave about this all the time, to everyone who will listen, and even some who don't want to listen. Guys, this stuff is magical. It's a wonderful formula that's nourishing and conditioning while you wear it, so it's not bad for your lashes like other mascaras! It's also super black, and has a skinny wand that grabs every single little lash you have. It's just perfect, and I think it gets overlooked often because of other products from well known brands like Maybelline or YSL, when it's really just as good, if not better, than every mascara I've tried from both of those brands. I'm just obsessed because it's not slowly destroying my lashes every time I apply it. That's a really awesome perk, for me.

2. Dior Diorshow Precision Brow Styler. Jackie recommended this to me about a month ago, and I love it. It's simply perfect if you think you want to do your brows but you don't look good with Instagram brows. I'm not a girl that can pull off thick, dark, blunt lashes. With this, I don't have to because it looks like my natural eyebrows, just a bit more precise. I really like it for doing my brows, and I think that in a world where Anastasia Beverly Hills exists, this product doesn't get nearly the recognition that it deserves.

3. Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm. This is my absolute favorite lip balm right now. It's thick and creamy, but matte and not sticky (I'm lookin' at you, Bite Agave Lip Mask), and it sinks into your lips like a dream. Now, I'm a lip balm junkie, I've tried every possible thing you can think of, and this one is the best. It's not well known in the USA (because I'm pretty sure it's only sold on Amazon), so I picked it up in the UK and wow am I in love. But, I feel like it's really overshadowed by products like Eos, Baby Lips, Nivea and Vaseline, which is nonsense because none of those things moisturize.

4. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils. I'm a cream eye product hoarder. I admit this. but I utterly love these pencils, and I'm rather devastated that they are more or less discontinued. They're amazing. Okay, they don't blend out well, but I'm not a fan of blended out shadow looks. They're creamy but super longwearing, you can cry in them and nothing will happen (seriously, I got dumped wearing this on my eyes and it didn't move a millimeter). They're just really awesome, they have great colors, they're super smooth and easy to apply...just magical, truly.

5. iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum. I love this stuff. I use it every night before bed to diminish dark spots and blackheads, and it's glorious. You only need like 4 drops to cover your entire face, and it lasts forever. It leaves your skin really soft and smooth, and my mom tells me my skin is glowing the more often I use it. It was recommended to me by my esthetician, but I think it's also available on line. I simply love this, my skincare routine isn't complete without it.

Those are my 5 favorite obscure beauty products, what are yours??

Wow, great thread. I think I'll have to get back to you for this one, I need to get the best and my absolute favorite. In the meantime, I'll write down some of these to get when I go back to the States, probably next year.

Wow, these are all awesome! :) I'm so glad you guys have obscure favorites, too. It's sort of odd to me seeing all of these favorites where everyone goes "dipbrow! Naked palettes! Baby lips!" So I tried to be a little different, especially since all of my favorite products are pretty obscure by BL standards :)

I'm just thinking and one of my favorite eyeshadows has been discontinued for years. they still make the same style eyeshadow but in trios and different colors, which sucks. I'll be back again with my list!

Hmm my top 5 that I don't see people use are:
1) NYC Kohl Brow/Eyeliner Pencil- I looove this pencil for my brows. I use the color Taupe and it's perfect. It's not too waxy or rough. Looks natural.
2) NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder in All Over Bronze Glow: Everyone raves about Sunny, which is great but too orangey. This one is also matte and it's a good neutral brown color!
3) Hard Candy Glow All The Way in Doll Face: This is an AMAZING liquid highlighter!! It's a pinkish shade and looks great on top of the cheekbones!
4) Wet n Wild Mega Length Mascara: My friend recommended it to me and it's great! Super cheap and very lengthening!
5) NYC Eyeshadows!- I have the little palette in Union Square! It's super pretty and pigmented! It comes with 4 shades- off white that's matte, matte brown, shimmery brown, and matte purple. It also comes with a primer and a shimmery cream color.

I have some now.
1. Deborah ombretto mono high- tech in 3
(that's the discontinued one but they make the same kind on trios)
2. Ceramol olio detergente viso-corpo: it's my holy grail face wash. You can only find it in Italy and Germany but it's sooo good, and I have my dermatologist to thank for it!
3. Thermal water spray (avene or uriage are great). It helps with sunburn from mild ro moderate and it's very soothing.

4. Pupa Milano miss pupa lipstick in 401. I'm attaching a picture of it. It's a sheer but buildable beautiful coral shade.

5. Anatomicals "zap zap zap! gets that chap!" spot treatment. it contains tea tree oil and smells amazing. it's a double ended wand with two formulas for day and night. I don't go anywhere without it!

Another few things..
Just wanted to put it out there: I quit buying fluoride toothpaste a few years ago. Fluoride is incredibly bad for your health, it comes from factory exhaust and it was introduced in tap water during world war 2 to slowly make people dumber and make them be blind followers. The propaganda then proceeded to add fluoride in everything. My dentist is also fluoride-free:other than making you dumb, it can turn your teeth completely yellow and ruin them forever. I use Biorepair toothpaste, I think it's Italian but I'm sure you can find different fluoride free brands. Sorry about this but I was looking in my beauty case and I found the toothpaste and remembered this.

Last thing: I love the Sephora brand eyelash curler (the gold one).it's a great dupe for the Shu Uemura one!

Llesenia, I love the mosaic face powders! I think I have like 4 of them. They're so cheap and wonderful!

Oooooh Breeze I love your products! My boyfriend is in Germany right now, maybe I can coerce him into getting me that facewash! :)

And I love that lipstick shade, is it only available in Italy?

I love the Sephora lash curler as well, I've had mine for years!
