What do you guys think is a suitable age to start wearing make-up. And also how much makeup is acceptable.

I wore lip glosses from 11, then added brows, concealer and mascara at 13.

I was 11 when I started but I wore WAY too much. If you are young when you start, lipgloss and mascara is mainly all you need.

I started at 12 as well. I don't think a FULL face is acceptable at that age but it's all about experimenting.

@ 12 I wore foundation, powder blush, mascara and some eyeshadow. I don't wear a full face even now, @ 16, just added eyebrows, bronzer, and more eyeshadow.

I think it depends on your comfort level. I wore eyeliner at 12, graduated to eyeshadow and mascara at 17. I'm 20 now and I only wear eye makeup.

On a daily basis? Probably about 14 with a bit of mascara, then by 15 it was loads of black catliner (Tried doing this on myself recently and it looked ridiculous) I didn't start wearing foundation until I was about 17 though.

To me I think 14 is about the right age for a daily routine (I know some people will disagree with me but yeah...) of naturalish stuff and then maybe experimenting with something a bit bolder (not including special occasions) about 16/17.

I think it's about recognising what you actually need though despite your age. If you've got good skin do you really need a full coverage foundation for example? I think that's how I see it anyway.

Depends on when you're comfortable and when your guardians allow it.

I wore mascara and eyeliner at 13. I didn't start wearing anything else (foundation, concealer, etc) until I was 17

I was about 13, I started off with eyeshadow and mascara.
Then started wearing foundation when I was 15. I'm 18 now and I don't wear makeup that often. I'll only throw on mascara and eyeliner to go to work. I stopped wearing foundation because as I got older, I noticed that my skin was getting more sensitive and practically every foundation or BB cream I worse broke me out and gave me rashes on my face. With out it, I have no pimples or nothing, except when I get my period, which I think we can all relate too 😂🙈

As long as you are comfortable with wearing makeup and your parents let you...any age.

I think people who are fifteen and under that don't have acne or something to cover up shouldn't wear face makeup. It's not good for your face and if you don't need it...why wear it?

I was wearing lipgloss at 11 started adding other stuff at like 15.

13. I think it should be kept minimal. but it's all between the child & parents to decide what's right for them. I personally didn't wear any makeup until freshman year, I kept it minimal. concealer for my dark circles, mascara, & eyeliner is what I wore.

I started when I was 12 as well but just eyeliner n lipgloss at that age - I didn't start wearing foundation until I turned 18.

I wore concealer at 9 for my acne and powder with it at 10. I wore mascara at 11-12. I'm 13 now and my acne has started to clear up so I mostly wear mascara and lipgloss.

Dependent on maturity and skin condition I would have to say 14. I remember some time ago going to MAC and seeing these two girls who were 12 years old wearing a full-coverage foundation over massive cystic acne. After they left I spoke with the artist who assisted them who gave me their ages and the parents have zero issue with it as they give them money to buy it since the girls are regular customers. They think by covering it up with a thick foundation will mask their skin issues but if anything it just highlighted and made it look worse.

I started at 10... Heavy eyeliner and mascara, that was it. Sometimes eyeshadow. If I could go back and change it, maybe I'd wait.. But still, it made me who I am today, so..
