Ahhhh love zoey!! But I don't have ombré so I wouldn't know. Honestly I'd lighten your whole head to a lighter brow and then ombré it out. I don't think black and blonde mix

Maybe you could do black with a rich chocolate brown on the bottom?

I don't think a blonde ombre would look good on black hair. First off, it'll most likely turn orange and awfully brassy. Second, you'll end up with hay textured ends. Thirdly, after you get the orange, you'll have to tone it, which will make it even worse.
Personally, I fine a balayage ombre much more natural looking and the natural look will be really hard to pull off on black fading to blonde.
I say you should get a chocolate brown ombre. It'll be half as much less damaging and I guarantee you it'll look so so much more presentable! That's just my opinion, but as to you're question, no, I do not think blonde ombre looks nice on black hair.

I've never ended up with hay textured hair, and I have bleached from black dye. It depends on the person and how healthy their hair is when they start the bleaching process and how well you take care of your hair afterwards. But it can happen.

I got the loreal ombré kit for dark hair, there's one for light and one for dark. I left the lightener on for just a few minutes and washed it out to be brown. It's super subtle, I love it. I agree that a blonde ombré might not look as good on black hair, but I really like the chestnut brown ombré for black hair.
