I honestly don't like the waterproof. It doesn't smudge but it flakes like crazy. The other smudges a little if you rub your eyes but doesn't flake. Neither are my favorite, but out if the two formulas I prefer the non waterproof version (:

Washable. ;) waterproof mascara is drying to the lashes, no matter what brand it is.

The washable is so difficult to come off. it's just like waterproof. it never wants to come off. it's even hard w makeup remover.

Personally I say neither. I did have the waterproof version, and it is literally the worst mascara I have ever tried in my life, I threw it out immediately.

I found it to be extremely clumpy, I couldn't get my lashes looking nice no matter how hard I tried. I also found it very runny and smudgy, it literally smudged off of my eyelashes and into my contact lens, which was completely ruined. Then, of course, when I actually WANTED to remove it, the gunk wouldn't budge. Like I said, I would be surprised if I waited more than 20 minutes to throw this away.

Just do washable. The waterproof clumps and flakes and doesn't want to come off even with makeup remover! I so like the washable though! It volumeizes lashes and only clumps a little bit.

I wore the washable kind to the water park once and it. Didn't. Budge. So I would go with that one :)
