How to make leggings not trashy looking?

If you consider "the whole shape of your butt showing" trashy, then that would make fitted dresses, skinny jeans, shorts, ECT trashy. If you don't want your derrière to show, wear a longer shirt, or cardigan,. Tight clothes aren't always trashy. Just a word from my opinion, I don't really like that word at all. "Trashy" is an opinion, and in mine it doesn't even exist. I may not Sorry for my mini rant! But seriously! Anyways, over sides sweaters, tees, cardigans will help you out,

Personally, I think a long oversized short over a pair of leggings is fine. If your shirt still doesn't cover your butt completely I would suggest getting a pair of knit leggings; that's what I own. They have a little bit of pattern, are warmer in winter. And they offer a little more support and coverage, almost like a tight sweatpants! That's what I suggest.

I think there is a bit confusion as to what is leggings stretch pants and what are leotard leggings (which are more sheer) and stocking leggings are more like what Diane posted. first pic is leggings and second picture and third are Leotard sheer leggings that are meant for skirts,shorts,long shirts and a one piece leotard.

Here is another example of leotard leggings that have been popular but people have confused as regular leggings. I have been waiting for ever to explain the difference that so many have misunderstood between the two.I don't think it's trashy at all the truth is everyone was wearing the leotard leggings as if they were wearing regular leggings and didn't realize that those type go under a garment.

Thank you Alma I didn't realIze that at all I just find it trashy when your booty is sticking out like when the leggings go up your butt >.< they look just trashy in some ways but I'm very conservative when I dress I was raised that way so I'm sorry if I offended!
