So I am going to Puerto Rico soon and I know it's going to be reallllyyy hot and sunny! I'm one of those people that is really pale and always burns never tans :(. So what is a good sunscreen that actually works because I read somewhere that the amount of SPF in some brands is a lie. I currently use coppertone but I still get super burnt! Also what's the best brand or type of aloe Vera? Thanks :)

Anywhere over 50 isn't regulated by law and more than likely has cheap and harmful ingredients that aren't good for you. The numbers on your bottle are essentially the amount of time it will hold up. A good rule of thumb is every 10 is 45 minutes in direct sunlight, but anything past 30 is essentially pointless as they raise the numbers for the sales and they only truly protect you for.75% more per spf.
I don't usually recommend sunscreens but burning is absolutely dangerous and since you're prone to it minimize the risks by using a physical sunscreen instead of a chemical one. Chemical sunscreens contain tons of harmful ingredients (9 out of the main 11 are cancer causing) and they soak into your skin eventually absorbing into your blood stream. The chemical reaction as the sunscreen dissolves from UV rays is actually MORE dangerous than you've rays themselves. A physical sunscreen reflects UV rays instead of absorbing it so it is generally safer for your skin, Skinmedica daily physical defence is a good natural one with SPF30

Wow thank you so much Brittany!! I really appreciate it!! Yeah anything over 50 just doesn't sound good for you and it seems too good to be true. I'll definitely have to buy Skinmedica daily. And that scared me enough to stop using chemical sunscreens... Thank you! @Brittany.

My sister is white as a ghost and hasn't gotten sunburnt when she uses this. One day we were in Puerto Rico and she forgot to reapply and got totally fried. It's also waterproof.
